A strong Duo with HMI-Link: PC 443-W and operating panel TAE 2343

With HMI-link technology, data transfer up to a 100 m distance is made simple. DVI, audio and USB signals can be transferred between the remote operating panel and the control cabinet PC loss-free with a standard CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable. HMI-link is operating system independent and based on a pure hardware solution.

The multi-touch panel TAE 2343 and the new industrial PC 443-W, form a strong HMI-link combination. The high-performance PC 443-W has a 2.7 GHz Intel® Celeron dual-core processor, 4-GB DDR-3 RAM and a 128-GB solid state disc. In addition to the HMI-link, the following interfaces are available: 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 6x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 2x PS/2 for keyboard or mouse and 1 interface each for RS232, audio, DVI and display port.

The TAE 2343 operating panel, with a 23.8-inch multi-touch screen, is perfect for complex visualization tasks. Multi-finger gestures such as zooming, swiping and paging provide high operating comfort and avoid input errors through simultaneous pressing of two operating fields. The panel can be placed on a swing arm mount up to 100 m away from the control PC. Optionally, a chip card or RFID reader can be integrated, which ensures that only authorized personnel can operate the terminal. The TAE 2343 comes without an internal processor and is therefore mechanically more robust and less expensive.
