The ETV 1991 with Intel® Atom™ CPU

Thanks to the large format of the 19-inch TFT color display (1280 x 1024 pixels), the modern human-machine interface provides high flexibility for the visualization of complex applications, where a lot of information needs to be clearly organized and displayed as for example in the plastics or packaging industry. Process data and parameters can be comfortably entered through the film-glass touch display. Depending on the application requirements an on-screen keyboard can be displayed. An internal 1-GB Compact Flash serves as the storage medium for the operating system, application and data.

The VARAN Ethernet bus ensures communication in hard real time. In addition to two VARAN interfaces, the standard configuration provides two Ethernet, one CAN bus and two USB2.0 interfaces. The ETV 1991 can therefore be simply and flexibly integrated into the machine. The interfaces are located on the bottom of the panel's back casing. One of the two USB ports is built directly into the front of the terminal. This simplifies the connection of external storage media.

With a depth of only 57 mm and a weight of 7 kg (plastic housing), the ETV 1991 is suitable for installation into the control cabinet as well as directly onto the machine casing.
