The new DIAS-Drive 2000 Motion training unit offers a compact and practical solution for training motion and safety functions. SIGMATEK makes state-of-the-art automation technologies understandable, application-oriented and safe to experience.
The setup is based on the MDP 2102-DDD-03 and is equipped with a motor including a safe Hiperface DSL encoder system and an integrated holding brake. This allows the safety functions integrated in the DIAS Drive 2000 to be demonstrated in a practical manner and applied directly.
The holding brake enables the SBC (Safe Brake Control) and SBT (Safe Brake Test) functions to be clearly demonstrated using concrete examples.
A second physical axis enables realistic and exciting practical exercises – such as implementing a “flying saw.” With the TSY 041 Motion starter kit extension, training participants have up to four physical axes at their disposal. Additional axes can be simulated via the motion library in the control system to represent even complex motion sequences.
Thanks to the single-phase drive variant in combination with galvanic isolation, the training setup can be operated at office or training workstations without any special requirements for the power supply.
