High Multi-touch with HMI-Link: The TAE 2343

23.8 inch multi-touch screen in portrait format – with the TAE 2343, demanding visualizations with a lot of information and details can be presented brilliantly. The operating panel is equipped with HMI-Link technology and can therefore be placed up to 100 m away from the control computer on the swing arm of the machine or system. The display, video, audio and USB signals are transmitted between the TAE 2343 and the industrial PCs of the 400 series loss-free and with a standard Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable.

 

The 23.8" TFT color display  (1080 x 1920 pixels, full HD) with LED backlighting uses projective capacitive touch technology (PCT). The continuous glass front is rimmed with an aluminum frame. This gives the multi-touch panel an elegant appearance (IP 54 front). An RFID reader, a USB 2.0 Type A interface and an VESA 75 connection device are also integrated.

 

HMI-Link technology is based on a complete hardware solution and is operating system independent. The HMI-Link panels, as with the TAE 2343, have no internal main processor and are therefore more mechanically robust and economic. Possible changes in the computing power can be flexibly made in the control cabinet.
