The DC 062: Axis Module with Incremental Encoder Input

Full servo axis functions in the smallest space

An axis module with incremental encoder input extends the S-DIAS series. Like the DC 061, the DC 062 is also used for controlling synchronous servomotors. At a power rating of 300 Watts, up to 6 Amperes of continuous current can be reached. For a short time, a peak current of up to 15 Amperes are possible.

The integrated 32-bit incremental encoder, with a counter frequency up to 500 kHz, provides cost-effective position evaluation. In the DC 061, a standard Resolver input (12-bit) makes this possible.

The servo amplifiers in S-DIAS format are equipped with a 2-channel enable input. This allows the implementation of the TÜV-certified safety functions STO (Safe Torque Off) for applications up to SIL 3 (according to EN 62061) and Cat. 4, PL e (EN ISO 13849-1/2).

The axis modules also have a +24 V DC output, which makes controlling a stop brake possible. When braking, the energy is fed back to the DC-link. In the drive library of the engineering tool LASAL, a wide selection of predefined motion components are available. Creating applications is thereby simplified and accelerated.
