The modern servo drive systems are a part of the modular SIGMATEK toolkit and like all our automation components, has a space-saving design. This helps you to compactly design the control cabinet for your machine or system.
Thanks to minimal controller times of only 62.5 µs, the different series have excellent servo performance. Exact positioning at high speeds is thereby guaranteed.
The tasks of the servo drives were consciously limited to current, speed and position control to avoid unnecessary overhead and achieve an attractive price/performance ratio. All parameter and configuration data of the drives are stored centrally in the control. Redundant functions and expensive electronics in the drive are thereby eliminated. Handling during the initial start-up is thereby simplified; as well as service, since exchanging the drives is uncomplicated.
Over VARAN, the drive technology is quickly integrated into the automation system. Particularly for fast machines with several drives, the Ethernet bus VARAN is ideal. All accesses are synchronized in hard real-time (synchronicity inaccuracy less than 100 ns).
The high data transfer rate and broad bandwidth of the real-time Ethernet communication enable the control of multiple drives in the shortest time. For data exchange between the control and drive, VARAN needs only 5.05 µs.
All servo drive systems have Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1) – in compliance with SIL 3 according to EN 61508 and PL e according to ISO 13849-1/-2. The DIAS Drives 1000 are additionally equipped with Safe Brake Control (SBC). The drive technology can be easily integrated into the Safety concept of your machine.
In addition to servo motors, the DIAS Drives 100 and 300 also control linear, torque and asynchronous motors. For the feedback system, Resolver, Sin/Cos, EnDat® and Hiperface®/Hiperface DSL® can be used.
The initial start-up or parameterizing software for the DIAS Drives is completely integrated into LASAL. The LASAL MOTION package provides a large library with predefined motion control and technology modules, which range from positioning to the coupling of multiple axes within a space. Efficient tools such as real-time Data Analyzer, real-time trend recording, CAM Designer and Motion Diagnostic View simplify engineering considerably.
