SIGMATEK is a leader in automation technology. The needs of our customers are the focus of our work. We aim to efficiently and flexibly solve even the most complex automation tasks. For this reason, we work closely with schools, polytechnic colleges and universities and engage in various cooperative training ventures.
We have cooperation with educational institutions: starting with kindergarten to high schools and polytechnic schools to technical training facilities. Training the engineers of tomorrow is our greatest cause. We equip laboratories and technical training facilities with hard and software, and provide training for instructors.
Are you about to graduate from technical school or university and have decided on a practice-oriented project or dissertation? We are open to cooperation. Simply send us your suggested topic. In addition to hard and software, which we provided free of charge, we also support you with expert know-how.
Our Innovation Center in Lamprechtshausen is open for students and teachers. With a tour of the company, we will happily give you an insight into the daily routine and the production processes of a successful high-tech company. Simply contact us - three weeks before the planned field trip date.
That is because at SIGMATEK one can become familiar with many different job profiles: Hardware and software design, technical customer applications, testing, production, quality assurance, purchasing, marketing, graphics and IT.
And word has also gotten around that working with us is really fun and you can gain valuable experience.
During this time, we can get to know one another. Several interns have since become employees of our company.

Contrary to many other companies, we do not only look for candidates with professional experience. A large part of our "new arrivals" in technology come directly from technical schools and universities. Graduates with wit, ability and commitment have good opportunities with us. Experience comes with time.
For young professionals, this means: "Learning by doing". We rely on a mixture of theory and practice. At the beginning there is – depending on the job area – a technical introduction or intensive basic training in our products and technologies. The next step is direct to your work station in your team, where your experienced colleagues will provide you with support. Of course at the beginning, you will make mistakes.
